Here you can barely see my father working on Bob Hoover's plane. Bob is in the pilots seat talking to my father while he works on the plane. At this point in time, Bob's mechanics were not yet in Springfield, Illinois. My father had put in over 40 years as an A&E Licensed mechanic at the time of his retirement.
